The Influence of a Religious-Based Literacy Program on the Character Development of Students at Almadinatul Islamiyah Rumeneng Islamic Junior High School

This research aims to determine the influence of a religiosity-based literacy program on students' character formation. This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative design. Data were collected through a questionnaire distributed to 14 students as respondents and supported by documentation of literacy activities. The distributed questionnaire has been tested for validity and reliability, resulting in 8 valid items for variable X and 15 valid items for variable Y, with reliability test results for variables X and Y being 0.722 and 0.839, respectively. The prerequisite tests used are normality, homogeneity, and linearity. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression with the help of the SPSS 22 program. Based on the analysis results, a coefficient value of 2.859 and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 were obtained, with a coefficient of determination (R2) value of 0.405; thus, Ha is accepted. It means that there is an influence of a literacy program based on religiosity on the character formation of students.
