Abstract

The multidisciplinary approach has become a trend in scientific development, including in Islamic higher education. UIN Mataram, as one of the Islamic higher education institutions, establishes a paradigm of scientific development called SCIENTIFIC HORIZON. This study aims to find a theoretical framework for integrating Islamic values in mathematics learning. The research was conducted using a library research approach, in which data were collected by reviewing the literature to find a reference framework for developing mathematics learning materials integrated with Islamic values. The results of the study show that integrating Islamic values in mathematics learning can be approached in three ways: learning with Islamic values (using mathematical content enriched with Islamic perspectives), learning through Islamic values (employing mathematics to analyze or express Islamic concepts), and learning about the relationship between mathematics and Islamic values (examining the interplay and mutual influence between the two disciplines). Integrating two scientific disciplines into a single learning process requires selecting relevant learning materials to avoid bias in meaning and to prevent the transmission of conceptual errors to students.
