Abstract

This study aims to describe the character education based  child-friendly school the SDN Mataram City . This study used descriptive qualitative research methods with data collection methods using interviews and observations. The results of th e research and analysis showed that the implementation of child-friendly school-based character education based child-friendly school is carried out by adjusting the learning policies issued by the Ministry of Education and Culture while still complying with health protocols. There are several forms of character education based child friendly school  carried out at the Mataram City Elementary School by habituation, through the development of school culture, through extracurricular activities, and the integration of character education values ​​into each appropriate subject. In addition, to support the development of student character, the school creates a safe and comfortable school environment by the principles of child-friendly schools.
