The impact of the development of the tourism district in Ivory Coast on the empowerment of the coastal community of Mapak, Sekarbela District, Mataram City

The Mapak Coastal Community previously worked on average as fishermen, but now they have turned to grilled fish traders, rental of children's toys and others, which managed by the local community in the tourist area of Ivory Coast Mapak, Jempong Village, which is called the Ivory Coast group with the support of the village head, the head of the local environment. From the findings in the field, there are several aspects that encourage the success of community empowerment in the Ivory Coast area. These include the role of the government in assisting empowerment activities, and the role of the community participating in empowerment activities. This is what encourages the community to increase activities that can empower the community and can develop tourist areas by continuously improving the quality of Human Resources (HR) in order to increase community income sources through empowering the Ivory Coast community development.
